Three Girls and a Guy

This past week has been fun and full of adventure. Tracie's sisters (Kayla and Kelli) came from Mississippi to visit us and see how we live. The girls spent Thursday shopping for a wedding dress for Kelli who will be getting married in November. Friday we all piled into the truck and headed to Flaming Gorge to show them that, when we got home from that trip I played softball in the UBIC softball tournament. Saturday was some more softball followed by a night sitting on the hill listening to Elvis, Madonna, Garth Brooks, Elton John, Etc. (The Legends) and watching fireworks. Sunday Night after the rain storm we got, we loaded the truck with sleeping bags and a tent and headed to Uinta Canyon to spend the night, hoping the rain had passed for the night. Mom, Dad, and Tyler Lisonbee came up and we cooked tinfoil dinners in the fire pit and then ate some smores. When we woke up (Kayla, Kelli, Tracie and I were the only ones that spent the night) we walked to the river to try to catch a fish. It was fun to watch the girls learn to fly fish, they are actually pretty good for beginners. We had a great time. After we got home and all cleaned up we went to the golf course with Austin and Mason to hit range balls. Hitting range balls was fun, I hate to tell everyone, we all need a few golf lessons. Sorry Girls. After all of that days activities we had worked up a big appetite so we went and enjoyed some of dads dutch oven chicken and potatoes, boy did they hit the spot. Tuesday night the girls and I went bowling, talk about an adventure, it was a good time, I'm suprised no one got hurt, with Tracie throwing the ball the wrong way and all. :) Wednesday Kelli and Kayla had to go home, Tracie and I hated to see them leave, but are very grateful we had the chance to have them come and stay with us. We have an AWESOME time Kayla and Kelli, I'm glad that I could spend this time with them to get to grow closer to them, we miss you already. Come Back Soon and bring whom ever you can get to come. Love Y'all.

Pictures of the Fire

Here are a few pictures that Tracie and I took on our way camping and home from camping. It is so sad to see the damage that took place. I wish the pictures could show the real damage that was done. It had rained for a couple of days before we went camping and because all of the vegetation had been destroyed there was areas that had started to wash away. I was suprised how much of area the fire covered, I had heard the areas it had burnt but until I went through those areas I didn't really have any idea.
