Boy Tracie has some good ideas once in awhile but when
she mentioned remodeling the bathroom I got a little worried knowing the history of our remodel projects. This job once again was a bigger job than anticipated. Tracie thought, heck this will take us a couple of hours, we will slap some paint on the wall, take the carpet out and put down some
laminate flooring and bam
a new bathroom. She thought wrong, this turned into a Christmas Break project. When we started to paint the walls once again the existing paint started peeling so out came the razor blades to start scraping. We had to recruit dad to come and work his magic with the sheetrock mud, I'm glad he
knows what he is doing because I would probably still be trying to perfect it. In the middle of it all we decided to pull out the vanity and paint it black, that made a big difference in the finished product. The floor was probably the easiest thing to put in during the whole task. It was a lot of work but well worth all the time and effort.
